Vertex is growing, and we're looking for a Class 1 Operator with experience operating Semi-Vac's, Combo Vac's, Pressure Trucks and Hot Oiler's to join our Nisku, Alberta team. We're seeking a local candidate from the Nisku area. Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all times
Comply with Company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, Department of Transportation and hazardous materials/waste requirements and regulations
Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, dispatch and trip reports and time sheets
Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
Perform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to Supervisor
Safely observe all company operating guidelines and procedures
Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
Candidate Qualifications
Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by Vertex)
Valid Class 1 drivers license with a clean commercial drivers abstract
Minimum of 1 year Class 1 driving experience
Minimum of 1 year within the oilfield experience
1 - 2 years of experience operating Semi Vac's and Combo Vac's (preferred but willing to train)
1 - 2 years of experience operating Pressure Trucks and Hot Oiler's (preferred but willing to train)
ELD logbook experience
Possess H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO safety tickets
Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
Integrity and reliability, willing to accept out of town work when applicable/necessary
Assets to Have
Possess CSTS 2020, Fall Protection and Confined Space Entry & Monitor safety tickets
