Perform topographic and construction surveys using RTK and total station survey equipment to support design and construction efforts;

Support staff in the preparation of quantity estimates using AutoCAD and Civil 3D; and,

Promote and monitor safety on-site, ensuring all activities comply with safety protocols and standards.

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

At least five years of experience in civil field work including survey and construction observation, with experience in an engineering consulting environment considered a strong asset;

Technical understanding of water, sewer, and stormwater system design;

Willingness to take on on-site representation duties for extended period of time;

Experience working in urban environments;

Familiarity with Halifax Water and HRM design standards;

A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team to achieve project goals;

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
