CIVIL FOREMAN

Construction Foreman is charged with organizing the overall construction of a particular project for a particular contractor. Specifically, a foreman may train employees under his or her supervision, ensure appropriate use of equipment by employees, communicate progress on the project to a supervisor and maintain the employee schedule. Foremen may also arrange for materials to be at the construction site and evaluate plans for each construction job. Major responsibilities are as follows:
•    Must be able to read and interpret project engineering drawings.
•    Responsible for recording and maintaining daily time sheets for Craftsmen under his immediate supervision.
•    Prepare reports, manpower loading chart and 30-90 day look-ahead work schedules.
•    Understand job procedures for ordering tools and materials.
•    Familiar with all company safety procedures regulations and strictly enforces them with the workforce under his supervision.
•    Planning and coordinating job, ordering materials and managing manpower to ensure the job is completed on time and within the budget.
•    Plan, organize and coordinate building projects from start to finish.

•    Candidate must possess at least High School diploma with management and technical experience or an Associate's Degree in construction management.
•    Male not more than 40 years old.
•    TESDA Certified in Masonry or Carpentry or equivalent certification is required for this position.
•    With related working experience in the same field is required for this position.
•    Supervisory experience as well as an understanding of carpentry, plumbing and/or electrical work is required.
•    Effectively communicate orally and in writing, with good comprehension.
•    Apply good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
•    Manage differences and diversity at the work site.
•    Organize and delegate work.
•    Handle the administrative duties of position, including completion of required documents.
