Civil Engineering 3D CAD Senior Technician

Join our Infrastructure team as a Senior Civil 3D CAD Designer. You'll also be supporting team members in responding to requests to produce plans and drawings for large-scale civil engineering, road engineering and infrastructure projects. If you're detail-oriented, want to work on challenging projects and be part of an experienced team, we've got a job for you. You will work with engineers to produce plans and schematics and performs certain basic calculations. The person sought for this position must hold a relevant vocational or college diploma and be familiar with drawing software. Finally, our flexible hybrid work mode will enable you to combine face-to-face work at our Montreal office with work from home. 

Primary Responsibilities 

• Participate in the design and production of plans and profiles using AutoCAD / Civil 3D tools

• 3D modeling, quantity calculation and design optimization

• Assist the project team in the design of drinking water, sewer and urban technical networks

• Ensure plans comply with current guidelines, specifications, codes and regulations

• Participate in continuous improvement of work methods and processes 

• DEP in drafting, DEC in civil engineering or equivalent
• Minimum ten (10) years' experience
• Excellent command of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Fluency in spoken and written French
• Valid driver's license
