Uptalent.io is currently seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineer with Bentley Geopak experience to join our team. In this role, you will be working in the civil engineering industry. Our work is specific to producing water line, sewer line and other dry utility coordination (fiber optic, electric, phone, etc.) for North Carolina Department of Transportation submittals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed engineering plans for Utility projects: water line, sewer line and other dry utility coordination (fiber optic, electric, phone, etc.)
• Ensure that projects adhere to local and national building codes and regulations (North Carolina)
• Work with contractors to manage project timelines and budgets
• Provide technical advice and resolve any issues that arise during construction projects

Requirements:
• Individual with an engineering degree with 6 to 10 years of experience or an experienced CAD drafter with 10 plus years of experience.
• MicroStation Geopak experience (Mandatory)
• Experience with NCDOT roadway & profiles.
• Experience with Utility Design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities with an ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
