Job Description

SOCOTEC ARABIA, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services with a presence in over 25 countries, is expanding its operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Civil Engineer to join our Technical Inspection team. This role focuses on site supervision, design and documentation review, and coordination of high-profile compliance and inspection projects across the Kingdom. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Supervise and coordinate civil works related to technical inspection tasks.

• Review design drawings, material submittals, and as-built documentation.

• Support senior engineers in quality inspections, quantity take-offs, and compliance checks.

• Attend site meetings and contribute to progress reports.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).

• Perform civil engineering tasks as required by project leads and management.

• Participate in relevant training sessions and workshops.

• Work across different project locations in the Kingdom as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• Active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably within IDI projects.

• Solid understanding of the Saudi Building Code (SBC).

• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proactive attitude with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development.

• Willingness to travel and relocate within the Kingdom as project needs require.

• Reports To: Senior Civil Engineer / Team Leader
