We're looking for a proactive drafter to join our team.

Working under the guidance of Senior Drafters and Engineers, this role is well suited to someone looking to further develop their technical capability within a collaborative, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Design teams to produce drawings delivered on time, on budget and to client specifications
• Prepare and review drawings to ensure compliance with drafting standards and specifications
• Present drawings to internal teams, clients and consultants, and prepare amendments as required
• Provide technical drafting input and contribute to design on a variety of civil and urban development projects
• Utilise Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) systems effectively (AutoCAD / Revit)
• Assist with Bills of Quantities for subdivisional infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Work with statutory authorities and comply with council and regulatory standards
• Maintain high-quality documentation in line with Egis’ quality management systems
• Support project documentation and undertake administrative tasks related to drawing production
• Build positive working relationships and contribute to a collaborative team culture

 

• 2–4 years’ experience in a drafting role or related field
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or other relevant tertiary qualification
• Sound understanding of drafting principles and civil design documentation
• Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Experience working within a quality management system
