We are seeking an experienced Civil / Carpentry Supervisor to oversee all civil, carpentry, and structural maintenance activities across the hotel. This role ensures high-quality workmanship, compliance with safety and brand standards, and timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. The Civil / Carpentry Supervisor leads a skilled team responsible for maintaining the hotel’s physical finishes, furniture, and structural elements to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil and carpentry teams, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of works.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of walls, partitions, ceilings, flooring, doors, furniture, and woodwork.
• Monitor renovation, repair, and refurbishment projects within the hotel.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify structural or finishing issues before they impact operations.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines during renovation or repair activities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Engineering and contractors for specialized or large-scale works.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs for furniture, fixtures, and structural elements.
• Ensure accurate documentation of work orders, inspections, warranties, and reports.
• Train and mentor technicians on workmanship standards, safety practices, and brand expectations.
• Support pre-opening activities including snagging, finishing, and handover documentation.
• Ensure workshops, storage areas, and work sites meet safety and housekeeping standards.
• Support cost control, budgeting, and productivity optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and Faena brand standards.

• Proven experience as a Civil or Carpentry Supervisor in luxury hotels, resorts, or commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, finishing works, and building maintenance practices.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate contractors effectively.
• Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Relevant trade certification or technical qualification preferred.
