Civil 3D Modeler - Infrastructure

The Civil 3D & CAD Technician will provide technical support in the design and drafting of Civil infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, stormwater systems, and land development. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to create detailed 3D models, design layouts, and construction drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D software.

• Prepare detailed 3D models and design drawings for civil infrastructure projects such as roads, water systems, stormwater drainage, and land development using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Develop construction plans, sections, and details for civil works, including grading, earthworks, and utility layouts.
• Assist engineers in the development of preliminary and detailed design layouts for various infrastructure projects.
• Perform clash detection to identify conflicts between various infrastructure elements and resolve issues early in the design process.
• Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure that all designs and models meet project specifications and requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local and national standards, codes, and best practices for civil infrastructure design.
• Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements before submission.
• Prepare detailed drawings for infrastructure projects submissions including roads, wet utilities and dry utilities, from concept to IFC.
• Draft plans, profiles, and cross sections
• Update drawings according to design reviews and engineers comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with organization CAD standards and project/client requirements

Required Qualifications;

• Diploma or certificate in Design and Drafting, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience working with Autodesk CAD & Civil 3D in civil infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, or land development.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D software, including surface modeling, grading, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Naviswork and other relevant design software is required.
• Proficiency in Autodesk CAD software for CAD production & drafting purposes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings and models.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project teams.
