Pay Range: $21.08-$25.30/ hour
Location: Hybrid/Remote

Position Summary:
We seek a highly-motivated, fast-learning Traffic Control Design Specialist I to join our design team. This position is hybrid/remote out of one of our local offices. This position will require working knowledge and experience with the CA MUTCD, Caltrans, and AutoCAD software. The Traffic Control Design Specialist I creates Traffic Control Plans (TCP’s) for work zones encroaching the public right-of way.
Position Duties:
Create Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TCP’s) per CA MUTCD, Caltrans, and/or local agency guidelines.
Revise Traffic Control Plans as requested by customers or public agencies
Assist with other design duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Technical degree from accredited University or equivalent experience
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
Driven to learn new skills and techniques
Commanding knowledge of drafting software
Strong mathematical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Great organizational and time management skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams
Desired Qualifications:
Traffic Control design experience
ATSSA Certification
1-2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Mostly indoor office environment with windows.
Prolonged time is spent sitting at a desk working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
