Quick Summary

Citizen Engagement Digital Manager is responsible for leading the fight to protect American democracy and ensuring the integrity of the electoral process.

Job Description

About Us

Issue One is committed to protecting the American rule of law and winning game-changing reforms to fix our broken political system and ensure it works for everyone.

Since 2014, Issue One has worked to educate the public and Congress to pass legislation to increase transparency, strengthen government ethics and accountability, reduce the influence of big money in politics, protect the freedom to vote, and strengthen U.S. elections.

Issue One is helping lead the fight to protect American democracy in 2026 through our Check the Exec campaign, a comprehensive effort to educate, organize, and activate bipartisan constituencies against democratic backsliding. This campaign combines grassroots networking, grasstops power-building, narrative change, and Capitol Hill advocacy to restore critical checks and balances. The Hill component of this campaign (We the People Playbook) is a bipartisan platform to reclaim core constitutional powers that have been abdicated by Congress.
