Jet Excellence is a growing Part 135 Charter Operator headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. We are seeking a Citation X Performance Manager to support the continued growth and operational excellence of our Citation X fleet.
This role is designed for a CE-750 Type Rated PIC who brings strong operational leadership, flight discipline, and performance-driven mindset across both flight operations and fleet reliability.
Position Requirements
A CE-750 type rating is required.
Applications without a CE-750 type rating will not be considered.
Home-Based Position
Jet Excellence hires “home-based” pilots who reside in the domestic United States.
Must live within one (1) hour of a major airport
Must be able to travel as required for flight assignments and operational support
Schedule
15 days on / 13 days off
or
8 days on / 6 days off
Minimum Qualifications
CE-750 Type Rating (Required)
ATP / MEL
Current First Class Medical
Valid Passport
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Resident Alien Card) with legal right to work in the U.S.
ICAO eligible for international operations
Ability to complete training programs and demonstrate proficiency in all job duties
Part 135 experience preferred (not required)
Flight Time Requirements
3,500 hours total time
1,500 hours PIC (all aircraft)
Must meet minimum qualifications including 250 hours in type
Role Summary
The Citation X Performance Manager is responsible for safely and efficiently operating flight assignments while also supporting fleet utilization, operational performance, and reliability outcomes.
This role is structured to align compensation with fleet productivity, utilization, and company growth objectives.
Core Responsibilities
Flight Operations
Safely, legally, and efficiently operate each flight assignment
Conduct pre-flight, cockpit, and post-flight checklists and inspections per company policies
Ensure all aspects of flight planning are completed in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures, including:
Weather and routing
Aircraft performance
Airworthiness status
Facilities and security requirements
Passenger and customer requests
Load/unload passenger baggage as needed
Provide excellent customer service to passengers
Perform other duties as assigned
Performance & Operational Support
Support operational performance objectives tied to fleet utilization and productivity
Partner with internal teams to drive reliability and reduce downtime
Maintain a proactive, ownership-driven approach to aircraft readiness and mission success
