CIB is a global business operating across multiple geographies, products, and client segments. As a result, the team maintains a comprehensive view of the various initiatives being developed across regions and business lines, with the objective of supporting the achievement of CIB’s strategic goals.
Sobre el puesto
You will be a senior member of a team responsible for defining and driving CIB’s strategic direction, ensuring alignment with the rest of the Group. You will be involved in strategic and transformational projects within a dynamic, results-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy & Execution: Lead the definition and execution of strategic projects, ensuring they align with BBVA Group and RCP goals.
• Transformation: Drive major transformation initiatives across various products and geographies for greater scale.
• Leadership Support: Facilitate key decision-making for CIB leadership and support top management with strategic presentations and market analysis.
What are we looking for?
Experience & Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
• Fluency in English (minimum C1; C2 preferred).
• Proven experience in strategy and/or business development.
• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of CIB is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a structured and data-driven approach.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on high performance and continuous improvement.
• High level of motivation and ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments.
• Experience in cross-functional, multidisciplinary environments, with exposure to senior stakeholders across geographies.
• Strong ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and tight deadlines while maintaining strategic focus.
