CI/CD Dev Ops Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance Required)

North Point Technology is hiring a mission-focused CI/CD DevOps Engineer to help deploy, secure, and operate GEOINT visualization services that support on-demand access to critical data and products across the Federal Government.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines for custom, GOTS, and COTS software deployments across multiple teams in the Strata/GVS environment. Administer and harden Linux-based systems (primarily Red Hat), support AWS-hosted components, and automate operational tasks with scripting. Troubleshoot complex Tier 3 deployment and runtime issues, support internal and external users, and partner with Development, Security, Systems Engineering, and Tier 2 Operations to deliver secure capabilities. Apply DevSecOps practices to improve deployment reliability, system security, and release speed in an Agile/SAFe team environment. Collaborate effectively with government personnel, subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates.

Required Qualifications:

• Final Secret Clearance (required to start)

• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Clearance

• BS in a science, engineering, or technology-related field

• Multiple years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, software deployment, or systems administration

• Experience supporting CI/CD or software deployment operations in Linux environments

• Prior experience with Red Hat Linux

• Prior experience with AWS

• Prior Linux systems administrator experience

• Experience writing scripts (Bash, Python, or similar)

• Prior Tier 3 troubleshooting experience

• Experience working within SAFe or other Agile Release Train / Agile software development environments

• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills in a team-based engineering environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NGA infrastructure and procesess

• Experience applying STIGs / system hardening controls

• Experience with Chef, Ansible, GitLab, and/or Docker

• Experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, or Map of the World

• Windows systems administrator experience

• Experience supporting secure deployments for classified or regulated government environments

• Experience working with geographically distributed engineering teams and mission operations stakeholders
