Chinese Language Translator

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Chinese Language Translator to support our daily operations through real-time interpretation during meetings and accurate written translation of official documents. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between Arabic, English, and Chinese-speaking stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication that is both linguistically accurate and culturally appropriate.

Requirements:
Real-Time Interpretation:

• Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation during internal and external meetings, site visits, negotiations, and conferences.
• Ensure clarity and accuracy while conveying the speaker’s tone, intent, and message.
• Support communication between Chinese-speaking clients/partners and the local team.

Written Translation:

• Translate documents including contracts, official letters, reports, technical manuals, and business communications from Arabic and English into Chinese and vice versa.
• Maintain the integrity, formatting, and confidentiality of all translated content.
• Review and edit translations for grammatical accuracy and contextual relevance.

Support & Coordination:

• Assist departments in preparing bilingual documents and presentations when required.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery of translated materials.

Cultural Sensitivity & Quality Control:

• Apply knowledge of Chinese cultural norms to enhance message delivery and avoid misunderstandings.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics in all translation-related tasks.
• Continuously update knowledge of technical terms, industry-specific language, and professional standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in professional translation and interpretation, preferably in a corporate or project-based setting.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, with excellent proficiency in both English and Arabic.
• Strong skills in verbal communication, listening, and quick thinking during live translation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with translation tools is a plus.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
