POSITION OPENING
CHILDCARE LEAD TEACHER
Infant (Crawlers) Room
ESS/Willsub Employee
Required Qualifications:
Meet licensing/program requirements for a background check, fingerprinting, and other program clearances
CDA, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development
Must obtain Basic First Aid and CPR Certification
Experience working with infant children
1-2 years working with early childhood aged children
Job Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills:
Experience working with infants.
Primary responsibilities under daily supervision of the childcare director include daily teaching and supervision of children, daily supervision of childcare staff
Michigan’s Infant and Toddler Development And Care Practices Course Completion
Familiar with early childhood standards and benchmarks, preferred
Knowledge of High Scope Curriculum, preferred
Strong computer skills
Willingness to accept and perform additional duties/responsibilities as assigned
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure student success and a positive caring environment
A successful candidate will be able to:
Assist in assessing Children’s growth and development
Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily routines
Lead classroom staff in a positive manner
Have a positive and caring attitude
Possess strong organizational and communication skills
