Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Child Care Center Cook/Float Teacher to join our team here at Kangaroo Clubhouse, in Caldwell! The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to children in a child care setting, as well as stepping in to help in classrooms as needed.

Duties

Plan and prepare daily meals and snacks following provided menus

Ensure all meals meet nutritional guidelines and dietary restrictions

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Monitor food inventory and place orders as needed

Collaborate with child care staff to accommodate special dietary needs or allergies

Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures

Engage with children during meal times in a positive and friendly manner

Skills

Experience in food preparation, preferably in a kitchen setting

Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
