Position Overview
We are seeking a Child Psychologist to provide mental health services to patients aged 6 and above in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work with only one on-site day per week. Bilingual candidates are required.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide psychological assessment and therapy to children aged 6 or above
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Maintain active Medicaid provider status
• Collaborate with team members
• Provide culturally competent care to diverse populations
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
Requirements:
• Education: PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an accredited program
• Licensure: Active New York State Psychology License. Must be residing in the tri-state area.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with children aged 6 and above
• Requirements: Must have an active Medicaid.
• Language: Bilingual in Spanish (mandatory)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in child psychological assessments and evidence-based therapies
• Soft Skills: Cultural competence, empathy, strong communication with children and families
