Position Overview
We are seeking a Child Social Worker (LMSW) to provide mental health services to patients aged 6 and above in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This hybrid position offers flexible scheduling with only one on-site day required weekly. Bilingual candidates are required.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide psychosocial assessments and therapeutic services to children aged 6+
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain active Medicaid provider status
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Provide culturally competent care to diverse populations
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
• Conduct family sessions and provide support to caregivers
Requirements:
• Education: Master of Social Work from an accredited program
• Licensure: Active New York State LMSW License
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with children aged 6 and above
• Requirements: Must have an active Medicaid; Bilingual (mandatory)
• Technical Skills: Child psychosocial assessments, evidence-based therapies, case management
• Soft Skills: Cultural competence, empathy, strong communication with children and families, collaborative approach
