JOB STATUS: Full time (40 hours/week), 12 Months Per Year
LOCATION: Cosmos OR Willmar
Join Our Team: Support Child Care Quality in Our Communities! We’re looking for a positive,
people-focused individual to join us as a Child Care Aware Quality Coach. If you love helping
child care providers grow and strengthen their quality, this role is for you! You’ll be the go-to
guide offering supportive coaching, practical tools, and clear direction to help providers
create brighter outcomes for children and families.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Support Providers: Recruit and cheer on child care programs as they grow and dive into the Parent Aware journey.
• Coach with Purpose: Bring the Parent Aware coaching model to life with reliability, offering tailored guidance, handy tools, and steady support that lifts providers up.
• Build Community Connections: Get out into the community, share resources, spark partnerships, and keep referral networks
buzzing.
• Stay Organized: Keep documentation polished and on time, stay on top of trainings and meetings, and keep things running
smoothly.

• You know your early childhood stuff - child development, standards, and local resources.
• You’re great at building strong, trusting connections with the people you support.
• You notice the details, document what matters, and stay organized.
• You communicate clearly, collaborate well, and keep goals moving forward.
• You work independently, stay motivated, and adapt easily to different needs and environments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Option 1 – Career Lattice Step 9c
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development (30 approved credits) OR 60 credits with 30 approved credits
• Plus: Two years of experience working with
children ages 0–12 (strong preference for 0–5)
Option 2 – Career Lattice Step 6
• 8 approved credits OR a current CDA OR NAFCC Accreditation
• Plus: 8,320 hours of verified experience on
Employment tab and KCF Learning Record
