The Community You Will Join

We're looking for a sharp, proactive, high-functioning Chief of Staff to report to the President of Studio. You will support cross-divisional projects and manage ongoing projects across social media, video, advertising, television, and film. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with the ability to work collaboratively and keep many "balls in the air" to work at the heart of the organization on important projects, with lots of exposure to senior management and valuable clients. This role demands a unique blend of business acumen, administrative accuracy and organization, strong creative instincts, and people skills. The role demands someone with extensive experience in film and video production, fluent in development and production workflows, business development, business affairs, and administrative reporting.

A Typical Day

• Communicate and implement strategic business initiatives across the Studio.

• Partner with key stakeholders across the company to ensure the President is prepared for events, client meetings, productions and more.

• Help manage the President’s time and priorities internally and externally, and ensure projects are supervised and completed in a thorough and timely manner.

• Attend meetings on the President’s behalf, feeding back key information, and driving business forward.

• Project manage cross-company programs by leading and facilitating meetings, launching workstreams and coordinating with executive partners across the company to move projects forward and meet goals.

• Manage systems and deliverables to ensure the Studio adheres to all administrative needs, liaising between Studio stakeholders and the Admin teams.

• Support negotiations to get deals to a place where they are ready for the President’s review.

• Supervise the building and perfecting of creative materials from pitch decks, to screenplays, ready for the President’s review.

• Review production plans and budgets, business proposals and pending deals.

Who You Are

• Experience working on multiple concurrent projects in a complex organizational environment, under tight timelines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience effectively communicating at all levels, whether to the President or to an individual contributor

• Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information

• An ability and willingness to work at both the highest level and in the trenches.

• A love of making high quality, accurate materials from decks to spreadsheets.

• Business acumen and savviness to navigate through our organization structure

• Track record in project and business management with true experience is analysing deals, negotiating terms and seeing contracts through to completion.

• Extensive experience in entertainment - understanding workflows and protocols, the politics of the industry and possessing a network of resources.

• A high energy, high functioning, dedicated approach to your work.
