We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to work closely with our CEO and leadership team from our San Francisco office. This is a high-impact, high-trust role for someone who acts as a force multiplier, creating leverage through strong execution, organization, and judgment.
You’ll own a mix of strategic initiatives and operational responsibilities, including leadership support, office operations, and company-wide events. This role is ideal for someone who is highly capable, proactive, and thrives in fast-moving environments.
Responsibilities
• Partner closely with the leadership to manage priorities, execution, and follow-through across the business
• Own leadership calendar, scheduling, and preparation to ensure time is spent on the highest-impact work
• Drive special projects and cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution
• Coordinate and execute company-wide events, offsites, and team activities
• Own day-to-day office operations, ensuring the Slash SF office runs smoothly and efficiently
• Manage vendors, supplies, and office logistics to keep the workspace fully operational
• Establish and improve internal processes that create leverage for leadership and teams
Needs
• 1–3+ years of experience as a Chief of Staff, Operations Manager, Program Manager, EA, or early-stage operator
• Experience working directly with senior leadership in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment
• Exceptionally high agency, you see what needs to be done and do it without waiting for direction
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with extreme attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and switching between strategic and tactical work
• Proven ability to manage calendars, events, and operational workflows at a high level
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) San Francisco for an onsite role
