Chief Information Security Officer (TISAX)

We are seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the global information security strategy and strengthen our organization’s resilience against cyber threats. This role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight, ensuring information security policies, standards, and processes meet international compliance requirements. The CISO will serve as a key advisor to senior management, providing guidance on information security risks, opportunities, and best practices.

Tasks:

• Develop and enhance the global Information Security Management System (ISMS), defining policies, guidelines, and compliance measures.
• Drive and oversee the implementation of TISAX and other relevant standards, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and evaluate external security service providers and vendors, ensuring alignment with business and security objectives.
• Lead cyber resilience initiatives, including incident response, risk assessments, security audits, and business continuity planning.
• Collaborate with global teams to harmonize security practices across regions and ensure continuous compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a CISO or senior cybersecurity leader, ideally within the automotive, manufacturing, or transportation sectors.
• Expertise in TISAX implementation, ISMS development, and auditing processes.
• Strong knowledge of cyber resilience, risk management, and security compliance frameworks (e.g., TISAX, NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST CSF).
• Hands-on experience with incident response, IT infrastructure security, cloud, and network security.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align security initiatives to broader business objectives.
• Fluency in English (German or other additional languages are a plus).
