This isn't just a compliance-monitoring role; it’s a strategic position where you act as a key enabler, ensuring that our rapid technical innovation is built on a rock-solid, secure foundation.

About The Role::
You are the ultimate guardian of YAPEAL's digital integrity. You will act as the spearhead of our entire information security strategy and the official security guarantor towards FINMA. You will bridge the gap between high-velocity software engineering, strategic risk management, and rigorous Swiss financial services regulations.

Expect a Day Full of::
• Architectural Security Leadership: Defining the security roadmap and ensuring it is deeply integrated into our IT strategy and CI/CD processes.

• Engineering Collaboration: Addressing security requirements within YAPEAL’s IT solutions, working closely with dev teams to translate findings (Pen tests, CVEs) into resilient code and infrastructure.

• High-Stakes Monitoring: Overseeing critical security monitoring and penetration testing, ensuring proactive vulnerability management across our cloud-native environment.

• Regulatory Mastery & Audits: Leading the security dialogue with regulators. You will provide the documentation and expert oral testimony for FINMA and SNB audits.

• Crisis & Risk Management: Serving as a cornerstone of the Crisis Management Team and providing security sign-offs for new IT deployments and business cases.

• Culture of Security: Driving a "Security by Design" mindset across the technical organization and the wider company.

Who We’re Looking For::
We are looking for a professional who balances technical depth with executive presence.

• Proven Background: Significant experience in a senior security leadership role, ideally within the financial sector, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT.

• Technical Depth: Expert-level knowledge of cloud environments, networks, and databases. You understand how modern IT stacks work and how to break (and fix) them.

• Regulatory & Legal Expertise: Deep familiarity with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/GDPR), Swiss financial services laws, and ISO 27001.

• Strategic Execution: A track record of executing complex security projects within a fast-paced IT environment.

• Executive Presence: A strong communicator who can navigate complex technical discussions with engineers and regulatory interviews with auditors.

• Language Knowledge: Fluency in (Swiss-)German and English with the ability to lead technical/regulatory discussions.
