Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

ACX is looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and continuously strengthen our information security posture across the organization.

Our Mission & The Role

At ACX, robust information security is essential to maintaining trust and regulatory integrity. As an ISO-certified organization, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will own and oversee ACX’s information security strategy, ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO standards, continuous improvement of the information security framework, and the effective scaling of security practices in line with business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Own and continuously improve the company-wide information security strategy and roadmap

Maintain and develop the ISO Information Security Management System and ensure successful annual surveillance and recertification audits

Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements

Lead internal and external audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities

Oversee network, endpoint, cloud, and application security

Manage incident response planning, execution, and post-incident reviews

Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and IT teams on security and regulatory matters

Lead security awareness, training, and internal control programs

Manage security vendors, tools, and external assessors

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field

7+ years of experience in information security, including ownership of ISO 27001 environments

Proven experience maintaining ISO certification and ensuring ongoing compliance

Strong knowledge of risk management and security controls

Experience securing cloud and hybrid infrastructures

Background in regulated industries (fintech, crypto, financial services) is a strong advantage

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are highly preferred

Strong ownership mindset and leadership capability

Good written and verbal English communication skills
