Senior PsychCare, a private equity backed entity, operates in a highly regulated, Medicare-driven reimbursement environment with a multi-state footprint and significant growth opportunities. Our collaborative care model includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and licensed therapists (LCSW, LPC, PhD/PsyD). We are purpose-built to address the unique physical, emotional, and social needs of older adults, emphasizing coordinated, outcomes-driven care across clinical disciplines.
Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team at a pivotal stage of growth. This role reflects the Company’s evolution as financial leadership is separated from the President function to support increased scale, operational complexity, and expansion into new markets.
The CFO will partner closely with the President to drive financial strategy, enhance visibility into business performance and unit economics, and support disciplined growth across the organization. Key areas of focus will include strengthening financial infrastructure, building robust analytics and KPI frameworks, and supporting market expansion through data-driven investment decisions.
The ideal candidate combines strong strategic acumen with a willingness to operate hands-on in a lean environment and brings deep expertise in healthcare finance, particularly within Medicare-driven reimbursement models and revenue cycle management.
Key Priorities (First 12–18 Months)
Financial Close & Reporting: Improve speed, accuracy, and transparency of the monthly close and reporting processes; implement scalable systems and controls
Budgeting & Strategic Modeling: Manage annual budgeting and long-range planning; build dynamic financial models to support growth initiatives and capital allocation
Operational Performance & Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and operational leaders to improve efficiency, productivity, and margin performance
Financial & Business Analytics: Enhance KPI frameworks, dashboards, and actionable insights to support decision-making across the organization
Market Expansion: Support geographic growth through market analysis, pro forma development, and investment evaluation
Core Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
Lead all accounting, FP&A, treasury, and financial reporting functions
Ensure timely, accurate financial statements and maintain strong internal controls and compliance processes
Manage external partner relationships (Banking, Tax, Audit)
Strategic Finance & Growth
Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, M&A evaluation, and expansion initiatives
Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support decision-making
Operational Partnership
Work closely with operational leaders to align financial objectives with care delivery
Partner closely with the Business Intelligence Department to improve clinician productivity, utilization, and cost structure
Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
Planning & Analysis
Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
Develop and monitor KPIs across financial and operational performance
Build scalable reporting tools and dashboards
Team Leadership
Mentor and develop the finance and accounting team
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience preferred
Deep understanding of Medicare reimbursement, including managed care and value-based models (I-SNP experience a plus)
Proven understanding and expertise in revenue cycle management
Strong background in FP&A, financial modeling, and data-driven decision-making
Experience building or upgrading financial infrastructure in a growing organization
Demonstrated ability to partner with operations and influence non-financial stakeholders
