The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a strategic financial leader responsible for partnering with senior leadership to drive business growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation within a pharmaceutical private label manufacturing organization.
This role oversees all aspects of financial reporting, strategic financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will provide insightful financial leadership, optimize finance operations, and develop a high-performing team while serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team and the parent company.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, aligning financial strategies with the organization’s long-term goals.
• Lead the three-year strategic planning process, annual budget cycle, and monthly forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to the U.S. parent company.
• Develop and execute financial strategies that support growth, profitability, and margin optimization.
• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting and analysis, providing clear, actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
• Provide financial leadership across cross-functional teams, particularly in areas of product expansion, operational scaling, and investment prioritization.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive process improvement and system optimization, establishing KPIs and financial controls to enhance efficiency and transparency.
• Serve as a key advisor on the financial implications of strategic initiatives and major business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate risk management, internal controls, and financial governance requirements.
• Present complex financial information in a clear and compelling way to senior leadership and board stakeholders.
The CFO will provide leadership and direction through senior professional staff, managers, and directors, and is accountable for the performance and results of a key organizational function. The role involves developing and executing large-scale departmental plans and contributing to the broader corporate strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economic, or related field required.
CPA, CMA, or CFA certificate is required.
MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance or related area preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles with responsibility for FP&A, strategic planning, and business partnership.
Solid working knowledge of Pharmacy Benefits Management, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Consumer Product or Healthcare Industry is highly preferred.
