NorthStar Medical Management, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a growing healthcare management organization and provide executive oversight to multiple physician-led client organizations served under management and services agreements.
This is a senior executive leadership role responsible for enterprise strategy, operational performance, financial stewardship, payer strategy, legal and regulatory oversight, and organizational culture. The CEO will partner closely with the Board of Directors, physician leaders, and client governing bodies to drive sustainable growth, strong physician engagement, and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead NorthStar Medical Management as an enterprise while overseeing a portfolio of client organizations
· Partner with the Board on strategy, governance, and performance oversight
· Provide executive leadership for health plan contracting and payer strategy
· Oversee financial performance, revenue cycle operations, and internal controls
· Provide executive oversight of legal, compliance, and enterprise risk matters
· Lead organizational culture, employee engagement, leadership development, and succession planning
· Build strong, trust-based relationships with physicians and executive leaders
Qualifications
· 10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in healthcare
· Demonstrated success in multi-site, multi-entity, or physician-aligned organizations
· Strong financial acumen, including payer contracting and revenue cycle oversight
· Experience with management services organizations (MSO) or platform models preferred
· Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, or equivalent) preferred
Work Location & Compensation
· This role is primarily onsite at NorthStar Medical Management headquarters in Missoula, Montana, with travel to client locations as needed
· Compensation is competitive and market-aligned, commensurate with scope, complexity, and performance expectations
