We are seeking an experienced Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead the compliance function of a regulated financial institution establishing and scaling its EU operations.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Lithuanian and EU regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Design, implement, and manage an institution-wide compliance risk management framework.
• Oversee the review and maintenance of internal policies and procedures.
• Provide compliance oversight for complaints handling, outsourcing, and conflicts of interest.
• Prepare compliance and risk reports for the Board.
• Deliver compliance guidance and training across the organisation.
• Oversee GDPR compliance, including data protection impact assessments.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within an EMI, payment institution, bank, or fintech.
• Previous experience in a senior compliance role (e.g. CCO, Head of Compliance, MLRO, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian and EU regulatory requirements.
• Experience designing and maintaining compliance risk management frameworks.
• Ability to act as an independent second line of defence and report to the Board.
• Practical experience with GDPR and European data protection requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CAMS, ICA, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Residence in Lithuania and professional fluency in English and Lithuanian.
• Clean fit & proper record.

The offered salary range for this position is 5000-9500 Eur (gross) per month. Salary expectations will be discussed based on your competencies and experience.
