ABOUT HOTEL NASSAU BREDA

Hotel Nassau Breda | Autograph Collection is part of Marriott International and is located in a former monastery in the heart of the vibrant city of Breda.

The hotel features 95 rooms, bar Heiligdom, a new restaurant Bar Belle and an unique chapel (capacity 300 guests) for weddings and events, and 5 meeting spaces.

As part of the Autograph Collection and Odyssey Hotel Group, we focus on delivering unique and memorable guest experiences.

THE POSITION

We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our opening team at Bar Belle.

In this role, you will take ownership of your section and play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes, while contributing to the creative and operational development of our kitchen.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines

• Take ownership of your section during service

• Assist in the development and creation of new menu items

• Ensure all kitchen areas are clean, organised, and compliant with HACCP standards

• Supervise and support junior kitchen staff

• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality

• Support in events, banqueting, and special functions

• Stay updated on culinary trends and continuously improve skills

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Proven experience as Chef de Partie or similar role

• Passion for food, creativity, and quality

• Strong team spirit and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Hands-on mentality and attention to detail

• Flexibility (including evenings and weekends)

• Good command of English (Dutch is a plus)
