**POSITION BASED IN THE US; CANDIDATE MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO TN VISA (CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP)**

• Lead the design, development, and engineering release of structural chassis cradle components and assemblies, ensuring alignment with system-level functional objectives.
• Manage end-to-end component and system delivery, from initial concept through vehicle launch, ensuring adherence to program timelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including NVH, Vehicle Integration, Stress Lab, and CAE to support validation, testing, and performance requirements.
• Own component design activities, including DFMEA, CAE analysis, and vehicle packaging to ensure robust and efficient designs.
• Maintain model and drawing integrity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
• Oversee component validation processes, including development and execution of DVP&R plans.
• Manage engineering changes and documentation, including Change Notices (CN) and Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM/CODEP).
• Provide build and launch support for assembly and supplier plants, ensuring smooth production ramp-up.
• Drive issue resolution through structured problem-solving and tracking systems (e.g., GIMs).
• Develop and validate fastening strategies, including fastener selection and assembly torque specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of experience in the design of chassis structural components.
• Experience with stamped steel parts, welded assemblies, and castings is an asset.
• Working knowledge of NX, Teamcenter, and/or CATIA for design and vehicle packaging activities.
• Familiarity with DVP&R and DFMEA development at the component and system level.
• Basic understanding of CAE for structural analysis (fatigue and strength).
• Exposure to physical testing of structural components and use of road load data for validation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
