We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Finance & Accounts to manage and strengthen the financial operations of large-scale real estate projects. This mid-senior level role is based in Varachha, Surat, and is ideal for professionals with 3+ years of post-qualification experience who bring strong expertise in statutory compliance, GST, TDS, audit coordination, and end-to-end accounting operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring financial discipline, regulatory adherence, and structured governance within a dynamic real estate environment. The position requires a detail-oriented, process-driven professional who can independently manage compliance timelines while supporting management with accurate financial insights.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger scrutiny and transaction accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and proper booking of financial entries.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closure processes.
• Assist in preparation and finalization of financial statements.
GST & Indirect Tax Compliance
• Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable filings.
• Perform ITC reconciliation (2A/2B vs Books) and ensure accurate reporting.
• Manage GST notices and coordinate with tax consultants when required.
• Stay updated with evolving GST regulations and ensure timely compliance.
TDS & Direct Tax Compliance
• Handle TDS computation, deduction, reconciliation, and return filing.
• Conduct vendor reconciliations related to TDS.
• Support tax audit processes, assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Assist during income tax scrutiny proceedings.
Audit & Governance
• Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for audits and documentation.
• Prepare audit schedules and ensure proper maintenance of supporting records.
• Strengthen internal control mechanisms and compliance documentation.
• Support implementation of structured financial governance frameworks.
Regular Finance Operations
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Maintain statutory records and compliance documentation.
• Assist in preparation of MIS reports for management review.
• Provide inputs for budgeting and financial planning processes.
What Makes You a Great Fit
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–3+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and accounting finalization.
