The Role 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Flight Coordinator to support our Part 135 charter operations during overnight hours.  

You play a critical role in ensuring every flight operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with FAA regulations and company policies, while the fleet is active and supported around the clock.  

This is an overnight position requiring the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and keep operations moving when the rest of the world is asleep. 

Key Responsibilities 

Perform all operational duties during overnight hours in support of Part 135 charter flights. 

Monitor flight activity, crew scheduling, trip planning, and dispatch functions through company’s flight scheduling and tracking systems. 

Communicate effectively with flight crews, maintenance, and the day-shift operations team to ensure accurate, thorough handoffs at shift change. 

Ensure compliance with FAA Part 135 regulations, company policies, procedures, and safety protocols in all scheduling and release decisions. 

Serve as a key point of contact overnight, supporting real-time decision-making across the fleet with minimal supervision. 

Maintain accurate records in the flight operations systems, including flight logs, crew duty/rest data, and trip-specific documentation. 
 

Qualifications  

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in aviation operations, dispatch, crew support, charter coordination, or related role. 

Working knowledge of FAA regulations and Part 135 requirements (preferred). 

Demonstrated ability to work independently and decisively during overnight hours.   

Reliability and punctuality are essential: the overnight shift depends on you showing up.  

Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly around shift handoff documentation.

Clear and professional communication across teams, providing accurate, thorough updates and handoffs between overnight and day-shift teams. 

Analytical and detail-oriented approach to assessing schedule, flight tracking, and compliance documentation. 

Able to make sound, timely decisions with minimal supervision during overnight operations. 

Job Type 

Remote 

Schedule: 4-3-3-4 rotating schedule (4 nights on / 3 nights off / 3 nights on / 4 nights off, repeat). 

Schedule changeovers occur on Wednesdays, with every other Saturday night off.   

The predictable rotation provides a consistent rhythm and the added benefit of a long weekend every other cycle.
