As we expand in Malaysia, we are building a high-impact sales team to drive merchant acquisition and scale the adoption of digital payment solutions.
Job Summary
As a Channel Partnerships Executive / Senior Executive, you will support the development and execution of EPOS’ partner ecosystem to drive merchant acquisition across Malaysia. You will work closely with channel partners such as POS resellers, telco dealers, distributors, and industry associations to promote and deploy EPOS payment solutions and Mini Programmes to SME merchants.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you will be responsible for partner outreach, onboarding, activation, and ongoing relationship management. You will play a key role in ensuring partners are equipped, engaged, and productive in driving merchant referrals and activations.
What You’ll Do
• Identify, reach out to, and support onboarding of potential channel partners across Malaysia
• Assist in managing and maintaining relationships with partners to drive consistent merchant referrals
• Support partner activation by coordinating training sessions, product briefings, and sales enablement activities
• Work closely with partners to promote EPOS solutions and drive adoption among SME merchants
• Conduct regular follow-ups with partners to ensure engagement and address any operational challenges
• Support joint sales activities, including field visits, events, and partner-led merchant engagements
• Gather feedback from partners on market trends, product gaps, and customer needs, and share insights with internal teams
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, product) to ensure smooth execution of partner initiatives
• Represent EPOS at events, trade shows, and partner activities when required
Requirements:

• At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development, preferably in fintech, payments, POS, telco, or related industries
• Strong interest in channel partnerships and SME acquisition
• Comfortable with outreach, relationship management, and on-ground execution
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage partners and merchants effectively
• A proactive and hands-on attitude, with willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of commercial concepts (e.g., pricing, margins, partnerships) is a plus
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia for partner meetings and fieldwork
