As we expand in Malaysia, we are building a high-impact sales teams from the ground up to drive merchant acquisition and scale the adoption of digital payment solutions.
Job Summary
As a hands-on Channel Partnership Manager, you will build, develop, and scale high-impact distribution partnerships to accelerate merchant acquisition across the Malaysia market. You will identify and secure strategic partners such as POS resellers, telco dealers, distributors, and industry associations, enabling them to deploy EPOS payment solutions and Mini Programmes to SME merchants at scale.
Leading from the front, you will activate partner sales teams, establish strong channel discipline, and drive consistent partner productivity to deliver sustainable merchant growth. This role requires a strong hunter mindset and commercial ownership to build a high-performing partner ecosystem that consistently contributes to new merchant activations.
Through EPOS’ payment solutions and Mini Programme, your leadership will empower reseller businesses across F&B, Retail, and other industries to operate more efficiently and grow digitally. This role offers real ownership, creating opportunity to build a powerful distribution network, drive measurable results, and create lasting impact for SME owners through EPOS digital payment solution technology.
• You will be directly responsible for acquiring, managing and maintaining key Partner relationships with companies or business associations across West and East Malaysia for an expanding portfolio of large-scale partnerships.
• You will work closely and connect with these partners to drive referrals into EPOS digitalization payment solution business.
• You'll need to be up to date with latest products and services to proficiently promote these to our partners and their clients, representing EPOS with the utmost integrity.
• You’ll be responsible for making regular contact with our partner network, providing feedback on any issues they face and delivering solutions to help them overcome their pain points.
• You need to be comfortable representing EPOS in a wide variety of scenarios and locations across trade shows, partner webinars and marketing activities.
• You need to work in collaboration with our partners and internal teams to produce relevant marketing material, assess product solution requirements and on-site and remote partner training and support requirements.

• Minimum 5+ years of proven success in channel sales, partnerships, or business development, preferably in payments, fintech, POS, telco, or SME distribution ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to build distribution channels from scratch and scale partner networks that deliver high merchant acquisition volume
• Strong hunter mentality: comfortable prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing commercial partnerships with business owners independently.
• Proven track record in signing and activating high-impact partners such as POS resellers, telco master dealers, FMCG distributors, hardware wholesalers, or merchant associations.
• Experience structuring commercial agreements, margins, revenue sharing, and incentive programs to drive partner commitment and sales performance.
• Highly numbers-driven and performance-oriented, with the ability to drive partners toward aggressive merchant activation targets.
• Comfortable challenging partners, pushing performance, and replacing underperforming channels quickly to maintain growth momentum.
• Strong field execution capability and able to train partner sales teams, conduct joint sales visits, and accelerate merchant deployment at scale.
