Turner & Townsend is seeking a Change Management Coordinator to support our growing team.  The ideal candidate is an ambitious construction professional with experience supporting a Project team on large scale construction projects and/ or programs.  This will support a $6B Manufacturing Facility in Lake Houston.
Responsibilities: 
• Responsible organizing change of information multiple workstreams for a highly technical mega project. 
• Responsible for developing and maintaining a master change log for tracking potential project costs. 
• Review Change Notices submitted by contractors and determined the next steps for action and expediting decision making. 
• Clearly understand project issues, gather information, generate possible solutions, make recommendations, and evaluate effectiveness of outcomes. 
• Work with the cost management team to validate baselines and to help identify funding sources for changes. 
• Monitor the status of Change Notices, Change Order Requests, and complete amendments to contracts. 
• Generate reports and analytics that summarize changes and impacts on cost and schedule. 
• Provide input into the control budget for projects and perform trend analysis to provide early warning of cost and schedule changes. 
• Present changes in Engineering Change meetings and capture technical and business notes. 
• Coordinate with areas such as procurement, supply chain, engineering and construction to identify potential changes and other project impacts 
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. 
• Project/program size in dollar value: $6B Manufacturing Facility in Lake Houston
Qualifications 
• Bachelor's degree (preferably Engineering, Construction Management or related field) 
• 1 -4 years in construction projects 
• Expertise using all MS Office software applications especially Excel 
• Detailed and diligent with tracking costs and action plans 
• Must possess exemplary communication skills - both oral and written. 
• Experience within the construction industry is a must, candidates with additional life sciences experience strongly preferred 
• Local candidates preferred, if not local, must be relocatable (relocation assistance provided). 
• The ideal candidate is self-motivated and confident working independently on client sites.   
• The candidate is proactive and engages with stakeholders to seek answers to questions before they arise. 
Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
