RESONSIBILITIES

Technical Responsibilities

Able to assist in all types of surveys, including, but not limited to, construction staking, As-Builts, ALTA topographic, boundary, laser scanning, drone work and subdivision surveys

Able to read and write stakes accurately and legibly

Ensures accuracy of all staking points and calculations

Assists with duties as assigned by the Party Chief or Project Manager

Ensures the survey equipment and truck are properly maintained, stocked, and organized for daily use.

Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

1-3 years previous Surveying experience

Knowledge of survey practices and procedures

Fundamental knowledge of mathematics, geometry and trigonometry and appropriate software to perform these functions.

Familiar with relevant equipment such as Trimble Robotic Total Station, digital and conventional levels, Trimble 3D scanners, and related software applications.

General knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, internet, One-Drive, etc.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Interacting with technology (computer, cellphone, etc.)

Ability to lift and/or carry items up to 20 lbs.

Occasional travel – driving or flying - to offices, jobsites, client meetings, etc.

Prolonged periods of standing/walking outdoors

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (field crew only)
