Position: Website Developer/Designer

Salary: PHP 57,000 - PHP 117,000/month (depending on skills and experience)

Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays; 08:00 to 17:00 PHT

Holidays: TBD

OVERVIEW:

The company is looking for a Web Designer & Developer who can blend design sensibility with solid technical skills. This person will focus on designing and building responsive, optimized, and visually engaging websites internally and the clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design website layouts, wireframes, and prototypes in Figma / Adobe XD.
• Build, customise, and maintain websites on WordPress / Shopify / Wix.
• Implement front-end changes (HTML/CSS; basic JavaScript a plus).
• Optimise sites for SEO, speed, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
• Work closely with our creative and content teams to ensure consistent brand execution.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and keep plugins / themes secure and up to date.
• Keep up to date with web and UX/UI best practices.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years experience in website development and front-end implementation.
• Strong hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, and Wix Studio, including theme customisation, plugins/apps, and integrations.
• Proven experience building websites from Figma designs, translating layouts into high-quality, pixel-accurate, responsive front-end code.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including modern layout techniques (Flexbox, Grid).
• Working knowledge of JavaScript for front-end interactions, forms, and basic dynamic behaviour.
• Proven experience building responsive, mobile-first websites.
• Good understanding of SEO fundamentals, and site performance optimisation.
• Awareness of web accessibility standards.
• Strong design sensibility: typography, colour, layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
• A portfolio of live websites demonstrating UX/UI quality and technical execution.

Nice to have:

• An eye for design, with sensitivity to typography, spacing, layout, colour, and visual hierarchy.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools and workflows for web development, content, or optimisation (e.g. using AI for code assistance, performance optimisation, SEO/content support, image generation, or experimentation), with an interest in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and user experience.
