We are seeking a skilled CFD Engineer to join our multi‑disciplinary Aerodynamics group, focusing on developing, validating, and improving CFD methodologies that support aerodynamic understanding and on‑track performance. You will work closely with aerodynamicists, process engineers, and software engineers to ensure CFD modelling is accurate, efficient, and aligned with development objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine CFD methodologies to improve predictive accuracy and correlation
• Work with Aerodynamicists to ensure modeling approaches meet development needs and are well understood
• Investigate and validate new numerical methods, turbulence models, and workflow improvements
• Contribute to external aero, internal flow, and thermal modeling domains
• Collaborate with Process and Software Engineers to ensure methodologies are robust, repeatable, and production‑ready
• Communicate results clearly to stakeholders
• Support ongoing technical development and knowledge growth within the CFD group

What do you need to bring to the team?

• Degree in Aerospace, Motorsport, Mechanical Engineering, or similar with CFD/Aerodynamics focus
• 2+ years’ experience in a relevant motorsport CFD role
• Strong grounding in fluid dynamics, numerical methods, and turbulence modeling
• Experience applying or assessing different CFD modelling approaches
• Strong communication skills and confidence when engaging technical and senior stakeholders
• Experience with commercial/open‑source CFD solvers
• Understanding of solver behavior, numerical stability, and modeling limitations
