Seeking an experienced Certified Wound Nurse to provide advanced wound care for inpatient and outpatient populations. This role focuses on assessment, treatment planning, care coordination, and staff education to improve patient outcomes.
Position: Certified Wound Nurse (CWOCN)
Length of Contract: 17 weeks
Weekly Wage: $1,952 – $2,224 per week (depending on tax free stipend eligibility)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 32 hrs/week
Position Highlights
Perform wound assessments, treatment planning, and documentation
Coordinate care with providers, nurses, and care teams
Monitor healing progress and adjust care plans
Educate patients, families, and staff on wound care and prevention
Respond to wound consults and support outpatient services
Qualifications
Required Education & Certification
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
Certification in Wound and Ostomy Care (CWOCN or equivalent)
Licensure
Active Washington State RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience managing complex wound care
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
