We’re looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) who wants to put their skills to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where quality care and compassion go hand in hand. This position is structured in compliance with Illinois law, including Illinois HB 3360.
What You’ll Do
Handle and provide care with confidence using Fear Free methods (training provided).
Perform blood draws, catheter placement, and administer SQ/IM/IV injections.
Calculate dosages and administer medications and vaccines.
Lead anesthesia support including induction, intubation, and surgical monitoring.
Assist in exams and treatment planning.
Maintain detailed, accurate medical records with timely entry into database.
Respond to client and team requests with professionalism and efficiency.
What You Bring
Current Illinois CVT, LVT, or RVT credentials required.
Availability: weekdays (morning, afternoon, evenings), weekends, and non-standard hours as needed.
Strong technical and clinical skills.
Exemplary client service and communication skills appropriate to audience.
Adaptive to changing priorities and multi-tasking.
Ability to stay calm, focused, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence working with animals of varying temperaments and medical needs.
