We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Prosthetic Orthotist (CPO) to join our Columbia, SC team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a licensed prosthetist/orthotist passionate about enhancing patient mobility and independence. The successful candidate will evaluate, design, fit, and fine-tune custom prosthetic and orthotic devices while collaborating closely with physicians, therapists, and other clinical professionals. Key Responsibilities
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized prosthetic and orthotic care plans in Columbia, SC.
• Design, fabricate, and fit devices while making ongoing adjustments to optimize patient mobility.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, effective care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on device usage, maintenance, and safety best practices.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary to improve function and comfort.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
• Adhere to ethical standards and provide compassionate, patient-focused care at all times.
Requirements:
• Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist in South Carolina or eligible for licensure.
• ABC or BOC certification in prosthetics and orthotics.
• Previous clinical experience in prosthetics and orthotics preferred.
• Strong patient education, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
