Location: Charlottesville, VA
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year

Summary
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you’ll support patients as they work on practical, day-to-day skills that improve independence. You’ll follow an OT’s plan of care, run treatment sessions, track progress, and help patients stay motivated through steady, measurable wins.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment sessions based on the OT’s plan of care
• Guide patients through therapeutic activities (ADLs, fine motor, coordination, functional mobility)
• Teach safe techniques and strategies patients can use at home and in daily routines
• Document sessions, progress, and patient responses clearly and on time
• Report updates, concerns, and progress to the supervising OT
• Help maintain a safe, organized treatment space and equipment

Requirements:
• Associate degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Active Virginia COTA license
• NBCOT certification
• Strong attention to detail for notes and follow-through
• Team-first communication style and patient-friendly approach
