Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles is a growing psychiatric hospital dedicated to serving both adult and geriatric populations. Since opening our first facility in 2015 in Magnolia, Mississippi, we have expanded to 12 locations across Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.
As we continue to grow, we are actively expanding our Lake Charles team in preparation for increasing our capacity to a total of 42 beds, serving both adult and geriatric patients.

We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Night shift (6:45PM - 7:00AM) with a 2/3 rotating schedule to join our clinical team.
Position Summary
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles provides direct, hands-on care to patients under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring their comfort, safety, and daily needs are met.
In this role, CNAs assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility. They monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions, take vital signs, and help maintain a clean and safe environment. CNAs also offer emotional support and help promote a respectful, compassionate atmosphere for patients. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a caring attitude are essential, as CNAs play a vital role in supporting both the healthcare team and the overall patient experience.
Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
Experience working with geriatric psychiatric or behavioral health patients strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Current resume with complete work history required
