Our agency specializes in delivering comprehensive in-home care and case management for older adults, children, and those living with disabilities across many counties. Who You Are: You are a Certified Home Health Aide in California who is interested in working with an interdisciplinary team of health professionals helping individuals that have transitioned from a hospital to home care setting and assisting them to remain in the community   You enjoy helping clients achieve their personal goals of remaining in the community.   You want to work with a team that inspires professional growth and share our priority of providing quality case management and home health care to the community.
Note* This is not a position for Caregivers, or Registry Aides. We are accepting applications from Certified Home Health Aides who have completed training as a Home Health Aide and received the necessary license issued from the State of California.
Responsibilities: 

Assists patient with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation, and other activities as needed

Performs duties as assigned in an accurate and timely manner

Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions

Experience Required:

Patient-interaction skills

Experience with ADLs

Experience with Hoyer Lifts

Ability to multi-task and perform duties in a timely and orderly manner

Essential Certifications:

Completed an approved Home Health Aide training course and received Certification as Home Health Aide from the State of California

Valid California Driver’s License, and eligible to be insured under our liability policy with a clean DMV report

Your own vehicle and proof of current auto insurance

Current CPR certification

PPE is provided to all employees

Service Region/ Location: This is not a remote role and requires you to work out of the Chico office seeing patients in Chico and Butte County and in surrounding counties.

 
Schedule: Part-time work - Ranges from 2-29 hours per week, hours may vary. 

Travel: You will need to travel to client’s homes within the Chico area and surrounding counties.

Physical Requirements: Conditional upon job offer is successfully passing a medical exam that tests amongst other things the ability to move, visual acuity, and hearing acuity. Physical requirements for this role specifically include:

Sits, stands, bends, lifts, walks, and moves intermittently during working hours

Able to lift to 50 pounds without assistance

Able to drive intermittently

Benefits

You will be reimbursed for the mileage you travel in your own vehicle from the office to participant’s homes.

Access to company owned vehicles to client visits.

You will receive a monthly phone stipend.

On the first of the month following 2 months of employment you will be eligible for health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, long term disability insurance as well as Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

We offer 401(k) matching up to 4% after 1 year of employment and 1,000 hours worked.

Leave accrues starting on your first day of employment, and you can take paid vacation, bereavement, sick and holiday leave after 90 days.
