Schedule: Days | 10 or 12-hour shifts | Rotating Weekends

On-Call: Required (based on schedule)

Pay Range: $28.00 – $38.00/hour (based on experience)

Shift Differentials:

• Evenings: +$3.15/hour
• Nights: +$4.00/hour

On-Call Pay: $5.00/hour

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000

Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)

Overview

A high-volume cardiovascular surgery program in Savannah, GA is seeking a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST) with open heart experience.

This role supports a growing cardiac surgery service performing approximately 1,000+ cases annually, including a wide range of cardiac and thoracic procedures. Ideal candidates are experienced in open heart cases and thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile field for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Set up, organize, and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Assist surgeons during open heart and thoracic procedures
• Perform surgical counts with circulating RN per protocol
• Assist with patient positioning, transport, and room turnover
• Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization
• Support efficient OR workflow and patient safety standards

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
• Minimum 1–2 years of CVOR / open heart experience
• Current BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)

Preferred:

• Experience in high-volume cardiac surgery programs
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular instrumentation and procedures
