We are seeking a highly organised Centre Examinations Manager to join our team in Sydney, Australia. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the management of the secure delivery, supervision and administration of either computer-based or paper-based high stakes English language tests at the test centre and the management of the test day staff at the test venue, as well as primarily participating in all aspects of the actual test delivery.
• Ensure the highest standard of customer service and test day delivery
• Ensure the highest standard of test security, confidentiality and candidate privacy
• Ensure the highest standard of test day staff management in line with test partner requirements
• Contribute to the growth and profitability of NETC
• Ensure the highest standard of professional conduct
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe working environment
Essential
• Bachelor’s degree (or lower qualification with relevant work experience)
• Excellent written and spoken English language communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills, especially both the ability to deal effectively with unexpected incidents arising in test delivery and also conflict de-escalation techniques
• Ability to manage test day regulations and procedures for either computer-based or paper-based tests, including ensuring confidentiality related to test materials, test procedures and candidate information
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and task completion skills
• Professional attributes, interpersonal skills and awareness of cultural issues appropriate to supervising tests delivered to candidates from a diverse range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds
• Proficient computer skills
• Previous experience delivering high stakes English Language proficiency tests or other formal tests.
Desirable
• Current PTE-Academic Test Administrator certification
• Experience as PTE-Academic and/or TOEFL iBT® Test Administrator
• Supervisory and line management experience.
