CEE Sovereign Reporter

We are looking for a Sovereign reporter to cover sovereigns and state-owned enterprises the CEEMEA region out of our office in Warsaw, Poland.

The reporter will have a notable track record covering and breaking news and a solid understanding of the sovereign credit space, working closely with our experienced team of financial reporters and analysts to cover performing/distressed sovereigns and state-owned enterprises in the region.

Day-to-day activities include:

Breaking news on economic, political, and market developments affecting Central and Eastern Europe sovereigns and state-owned enterprises

Working closely with our market-leading team of reporters and analysts across the global emerging markets

Analysis of political, economic, market, and other data affecting sovereign and state-owned enterprises under coverage

Requirements:

A minimum three to five years’ experience with coverage of the emerging market sovereign space

A deep network of contacts in the government, multilateral, asset management, banking, and legal communities

Knowledge of the sovereign bond market and global/onshore credit and currency markets

Facility with economic data and analysis related to coverage of the sovereign space

Knowledge of the political dynamics affecting sovereigns under coverage

The ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment

Excellent English language writing skills
