CDL DRIVERS Class A or B - Street Sweeper

C & S Sweeping Services, Inc. seeks CDL Class A or B Street Sweeper Drivers at our Phoenix location.

Local positions are available. The ideal candidate will be dependable, flexible with their start and end schedule for night shifts., have weekend availability as needed, and be quality and safety-focused.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Valid Arizona CDL Class A or B drivers w/o air brake restriction

Acceptable driving record for the last 39 months

Valid DOT Medical Card

One year of CDL driving experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience preferred. We encourage CDL graduates to interview.

Mechanically inclined – we train to affix minor repairs on the equipment

Ability to communicate and read in English

Complete pre and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT standards

Proven safe work practices and operations

Reliable mobile phone and transportation to work

Pre-employment drug screen before acceptance of the offer to hire and reimbursement after 90 days of employment.

Required tools after training

GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

OJT for water truck driving and operation with a tanker endorsement. You must have proven abilities to shift manually. We provide OTJ training for road construction equipment operation.  

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Exposure to outside weather, including frequent hot and cold conditions, as well as exposure to fumes, vibrations, and airborne particles

Requires the employee to sit, climb, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift and move up to 50 pounds

The work environment involves exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Employees must adhere to Company and Client safety requirements.
