South Main Trucking, an affiliate of Scott Electric Company, has a current opening at our Springfield, OH, branch for a Full-Time CDL Delivery Driver. M-F hours vary 5:00AM-5:00PM (8-hour shifts) + OT

Job Summary:

South Main Trucking, an affiliate of Scott Electric Company, is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Full-Time CDL Delivery Driver to join our Springfield, OH branch. This role is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of materials to customer and job sites while providing professional service and support.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate company box trucks to deliver materials to various locations

Load and unload materials from delivery trucks

Unload assigned truck at delivery sites as required

Ensure deliveries are completed in a timely, professional, and courteous manner

Perform basic vehicle inspections and follow all DOT and company safety regulations

Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and branch personnel

Perform warehouse duties, as needed

Required:

Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Prior experience operating van or box trucks

Strong communication and time-management skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years driving history

Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)

Ability to pass a DOT physical

Dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-service oriented

Preferred:

Forklift operation experience

Knowledge of electrical products

Must submit a background check and drug testing
